The customer had recently had new barge boards installed by a different company, but the sand and cement on both gable verges had not been reinstated. As a result, the roof was left unfinished, and the scaffold could not be removed, risking additional hire costs.

After inspecting the roof, we completed the following work:
- Removed the damaged and unfinished mortar from both gable verges.
- Installed new Fibre Cement Undercloak to provide a strong, durable base.
- Re-ran both gable verges using Remix Roof Tile Bedding Mortar, creating a neat, weatherproof finish that matched the existing roof.
- Replaced a broken ridge tile to restore the roof's integrity and help prevent water ingress.
- Carried out a full inspection to ensure everything was completed to a high professional standard.
Working to the Customer's Deadline
The customer needed the work completed quickly so the scaffold could be removed on time. After being let down by another company, they contacted us to see if we could help.
We rearranged our schedule to fit the job in at short notice, ensuring the repairs were completed before the scaffold was due to come down. This saved the customer unnecessary scaffold costs and left them with a safe, weatherproof, professionally finished roof.
